Programme 2009

Meetings are held at the Walberton Sports Pavilion, Walberton near Arundel, West Sussex commencing at 2.00pm and run until 4.00pm.

Video Projection Screen

One particular feature we have at our meetings is a video camera with projection screen and enhanced audio sound, so all attending can see and hear clearly the art demonstration in progress.

Visitors Welcome

We welcome visitors to come along for a nominal fee of £2.50 payable on the day, which includes tea and biscuits!

All of our meetings are held at the Walberton Village Sports Pavilion, Walberton near Arundel West Sussex, and start at 2.pm.

JANUARY

Saturday 3rd 2.00pm - 4.00pm. Stephen Foster demonstrates painting a landscape using acrylics. DEMONSTRATION

FEBRUARY

Saturday 7th 2.00pm - 4.00pm. Trevor Rush demonstrates mounting and framing pictures. DEMONSTRATION

MARCH

Saturday 7th 2.00pm - 4.00pm. Brenda Thompson conducts a critique of monochrome drawings and presents the annual award. DRAWING AWARD

APRIL

Saturday 4th 2.00pm - 4.00pm. Hagop Kasparian demonstrates a seascape using oils. DEMONSTRATION

Wednesday 15th 10.00am -3.00pm. Brenda Thompson heads this workshop which will be about creating a painting using only acrylics and a credit card (or similar type of card). WORKSHOP

MAY

Saturday 2nd 2.00pm - 4.00pm. Soraya French demonstrates painting an urban scene using mixed media. DEMONSTRATION

Wednesday 13th 10.00am - 3.00pm. Ken Ray heads this workshop on the subject of 'Problem solving' - any media.. WORKSHOP

JUNE

Saturday 6th 2.00pm - 4.00pm. Liz Seaward-Relfe demonstrates painting flowers using mixed media. DEMONSTRATION

JULY

Saturday 4th 2.00pm - 4.00pm. Sharon Hurst demonstrates - 'Fantasy' using watercolours. DEMONSTRATION

Saturday 15th 10.00pm - 3.00pm. Marcus Finch heads this workshop with the subject of 'Tree's - any media. WORKSHOP

AUGUST - NO MEETINGS HELD

Saturday 5th 2.00pm - 4.00pm. John Harris demonstrates drawing techniques in pencil. DEMONSTRATION

OCTOBER

Saturday 3rd 2.00pm - 4.00pm. Dee Cowell demonstrates animals using pastel. DEMONSTRATION

NOVEMBER

Saturday 7th 2.00pm - 4.00pm. Annual General Meeting. Come and tell us what we should be doing, have a chat and help us eat the goodies. A.G.M

Saturday 5th 2.00pm - 4.00pm. Tom Groom Award and Critique with Marcus Finch. This year’s subject is 'Reflections' TOM GROOM AWARD
