Michael Moore

Mike was born in South Wales, and graduated in Engineering at the University of Wales, but has always had a great interest in art and design.

A qualification in Graphic Design at the Bournemouth Collage of Arts led to the formation of his own Graphic Design company 7 years ago.

He has now semi-retired from the business and all his efforts are devoted to his love of art and wildlife. He is also a keen wildlife photographer.

A visit to the Marwell International Wildlife Art Society (MIWAS) exhibition last year increased his motivation even further. Now a member, he is delighted to be exhibiting in this years show.

He has also recently joined Downland Art Society and this is his first exhibition with the Society.

Mike’s preference is to paint in oils although he enjoys coloured pencils, pastels and mixed media.

Although his first love is painting wildlife, he is extending his range of subject matter and will take commissions, including pet portraits.
